For the second time, PT Kaltim Methanol Industri received a Gold Proper (Company Performance Rating Program in Environmental Management) from the Environmental Service of the East Kalimantan (Kaltim) Provincial Government. Tuesday (29/06/2021) at Novotel Hotel Balikpapan.
The award in commemoration of World Environment Day is carried out every year to those who participate in preserving and protecting the Environment.
The event entitled “The Kalpataru, Adiwiyata, and Proper awards were given by the Governor of East Kalimantan Isran Noor and also the Head of the East Kalimantan Environmental Service Rafiddin Rizal.
In his speech, the Governor of East Kalimantan, Isran Noor, appreciated the attention of all parties in helping to protect the environment in East Kalimantan.

Proper is divided into 5 ranks, namely the highest of Gold, Green, Blue, Red, and Black. In the Industrial, Services, Oil and Gas Manufacturing Sector, PT. Kaltim Methanol Industry won the highest ranking award, namely the Gold Rank from the Governor of East Kalimantan.
PT KMI became one of 255 companies that participated in Proper activities and won a Gold rating.
