PT Kaltim Methanol Industri (PT KMI) as the only methanol producing company in Indonesia, maintains its gold rating achievement in the Company Performance Rating Assessment Program in Environmental Management of East Kalimantan Province (Properda) for the 2023-2024 period. This gold medal is the 8th time for PT KMI and five times in a row since 2019.
This award was handed over directly by the Acting Governor of East Kalimantan (East Kalimantan), Mr. Akmal Malik, at the 2024 World Environment Day Commemoration at the Gran Senyiur Hotel Balikpapan, Wednesday (12/6/2024) to Mr. Listyawan Adi Pratisto as Production Director of PT KMI.
The success of maintaining the Gold PROPER award is clear evidence of PT KMI's commitment to carrying out responsible and sustainable environmental management and protection practices as well as community empowerment programs to realize a prosperous and independent society.
