KMI Agus Priyatno launched the three programs as part of the company's efforts to support government programs, especially the Climate Village or Proklim program as well as improving community welfare through PT KMI's artificial insemination program to support farmers in the city of Bontang to be able to produce quality cows so that they can fulfill their needs. intake of the community's meat needs which have been supplied from outside the city, by providing superior seeds and injecting them into the cows of the fostered partner breeders, he believes this program can help advance the breeders in the garden city. Through this program, Agus also encourages farmers to develop dairy cows so that people can easily obtain pure milk later as a pilot project, PT KMI cooperates with one of the farmers in Guntung Village, if this program is successful, PT KMI plans to collaborate with other farmers in the city garden.
Regarding the waste bank program, Agus said he wanted to help in handling waste processing while at the same time making people aware of a healthy, neat, and clean environment while also helping people earn income from waste that has economic value.
As for the mangrove planting program, KMI seeks to maintain the balance of nature considering that Bontang city is one of the industrial cities in East Kalimantan.
“We dream that Bontang can become a livestock center, so there is no need to import cows, even if pure milk can be enjoyed in Bontang. So so far, we don't have pure milk produced here, even people who drink SKM (Sweet Condensed Milk) is not healthy, but pure milk from cows is healthier, especially for children under five, and if this works, meat What Australians can enjoy can be enjoyed in Bontang, this is about artificial insemination” – said Agus as the main director of PT KMI regarding the expectations to be achieved from artificial insemination
"I think this waste bank is to reduce the burden of the TPA, we want it to have been utilized upstream and the utilization of recycled from the existing waste can generate additional income for the women who process it and make the city of Bontang cleaner" - Agus added about his expectations regarding the waste bank.
